My brain is creative in certain ways, often in spurts. Then, I go blank. Or I might get stuck obsessing over one particular project, story, or idea at a time. I think maybe that’s my brain’s way of keeping me on my toes. I’m just as surprised as everyone else at what comes out my mouth or flows from my fingertips at times.
When I’m in that creative space, I can write or create things to share with y’all, but when I get stuck I don’t know what to share. I’m absolutely open to hearing from you about what you want to know or see more of, or even what you don’t really care to see or know.
I am excited to be adding another creative outlet that will organically create its own content for me to share with you as well. Not only do I get to be creative, but I get to help others in the process. You’ll see me discussing the elements, typing people, and sharing content as I build my Image Consulting and Stylist business, Embody Your Element.
Of course, easy content for me to create and share is photographs of the things I do, people I care for, and places I get to see. I try not to bombard you with that too much, though it’s a huge part of my life and process. It can be annoying to some people.
When I took my kids to Hawaii last year, my oldest son was annoyed with all the photos one day. I told him there are a few reasons I take so many pictures. One is for the memories because browsing the pictures takes me back to the moment and I get to relive the memory for a moment. The other reason is to have more to share with y’all at some point!
I’m blessed to have some creative people around me that help with ideas, or simply keep me on track to finish some of the things that I start. They’re always there to help me accomplish some things (such as certain photos or videos) that are more difficult to do by oneself. In addition to that, they also inspire me. To do better, create more, and continue to follow my dreams.
Perhaps I’ll start recording reels so you can see my goofiness live in action and just read it. I do have a few ideas for some quick videos and photo shoots that I can hardly wait to create and share with you.
In the meantime, you’ll have to settle for the random things I see and think about, or the opportunities that present themselves through my normal day to day life. I’m always up for hearing your feedback and suggestions!
